Dr. Sabiha Raoof has served as the Chairperson of Radiology at Jamaica and Flushing hospitals in Queens, NY since 2001. She has helped create a team of 20 board-certified and fellowship-trained radiologists that provides patient-centered care at the two hospitals. Dr. Raoof has received several grants from Avon and Susan G. Komen for breast cancer education and outreach. She sits on the American College of Radiology commission for Patient and Family Centered care. She is also working with Centre for Medicare and Medicaid services on their Transforming Clinical Practices Initiative and serves as a national faculty leader for this project. In Oct 2016 Dr Raoof was appointed the CMO and Patient safety officer for both Jamaica and Flushing hospitals.
