Dr. Brian Herts is a radiologist at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH and a professor of Radiology at the Lerner College of Medicine at Case Western University. He is currently the medical director of CT imaging services at the Cleveland Clinic and the former section head of abdominal Imaging. He graduated from Brown University and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. His training in radiology was at NYU medical center. He is a fellow of the ACR, SAR and SCBTMR. His interests include imaging of the urinary tract, 3D imaging, dose reduction methods in CT and radiology dictation templates. He has nearly 100 peer-reviewed publications and over 100 published abstracts. He receives grant funding from Siemens Healthcare for research in CT dose reduction methods.
