This session will demonstrate the value of ACR Practice Parameters in daily clinical practice through discussion of the ACR-SPR Practice Guideline for Imaging Pregnant or Potentially Pregnant Adolescents and Women with Ionizing Radiation and the ACR Practice Guideline for Communication of Diagnostic Imaging Findings. It will include discussion of the medical-legal implications of the practice parameters for communication and a debate as to whether this parameter is a benefit or a burden for practicing radiologists.
