Description
The national push toward clinical independence in the practice of interventional radiology (IR) is advancing ahead of the development of quality platforms for the clinical education of interventional radiologists. To address this gap, this session reviews practice design, clinical management, the new training pathway for residents in IR, and the latest published research. The primary emphasis is on basic clinical knowledge, education, and clinical practice, though the session will also feature a discussion on the impact of clinical research on therapeutic choices for targeted radiological therapies.
