Description

The session will provide comprehensive information about the state of imaging utilization and the need for radiologists to become involved in ensuring the right patient receives the right exam at the right time. Understanding the implications of appropriate imaging utilization and becoming involved in the process is critical for radiologists in the new accountable care organization health-care delivery model. The session will provide a better understanding of why participating in the ACR All-Member PQI Project is a positive step to ensure the appropriate ordering of imaging exams by referring clinicians.
