Description
The purpose of this session is to present the results of a scenario planning exercise that was part of the ACR's Fall Board of Chancellors retreat. Building on an earlier exercise undertaken by SCARD this updated analysis examines not only potential future states and where the prior work was either prescient or failed to predict change but also the way in which ACR process and planning needs to adapt to become more strategic. Participants will learn about the future states envisioned during the exercise and will be encouraged, to frame the challenges and opportunities for their own practice situation. Developed in conjunction with Radiology Leadership Institute.
Learning Objectives:
- Describe the goals and process of scenario planning.
- Discuss the implications for your practice of future trends.
- Identify how the ACR is adapting to become more strategic.
