Description

The purpose of the session is to discuss radiologic-pathologic correlation of diffuse lung injury to help demonstrate the importance of collaboration with our pulmonary colleagues and the usefulness of understanding the pathologic basis of disease when interpreting images. Developed in conjunction with American Institute For Radiologic Pathology.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Describe the physiologic processes in the thorax that determine disease distribution.
  2. Illustrate the key findings that define diffuse lung disease.
  3. Identify the features of the idiopathic interstitial pneumonias on both radiology and histology.
