Description

The purpose of this session is to discuss the legislative and regulatory process including how a bill becomes a law. The session will also highlight ACR's legislative efforts and accomplishments. Additionally, the course will educate attendees on effective lobbying techniques and best practices for Hill Day visits.


Learning Objectives:

  1. Describe legislative and regulatory issues - both current and historically - that directly impact the practice of radiology.
  2. Discuss effective ways to lobby Members of Congress and state elected officials on legislative and regulatory issues impacting the practice of radiology.
  3. Identify strategies regarding best practices for being an effective advocate for radiology.
