AIRP: Male Genitourinary Tumors and Tumor-Like Conditions - Radiologic-Pathologic Correlation

Description

The purpose of the session is to discuss radiologic-pathologic correlation of male genitourinary (GU) tumors and tumor-like conditions to help demonstrate the importance of collaboration with our pathology colleagues and the usefulness of understanding the pathologic basis of disease when interpreting images. Developed in conjunction with the American Institute for Radologic Pathology ®

Learning Objectives:

  1. Define tumors and tumor-like conditions of the male GU system and discuss their underlying pathophysiology.
  2. Illustrate the usefulness of radiologic-pathologic correlation in order to accurately interpret images of the male GU system.
  3. Identify the basic imaging findings used to diagnose various male GU diseases.
