Description
This session will focus on the evolving world of accountable care and value-based arrangements, highlighting trends that will guide strategy for radiology groups seeking to thrive in a rapidly changing environment. The imperative and theoretical framework for accountable care arrangements, including the Triple Aim, will be supplemented by specific discussion of how value-based payment models work, from the perspective of ACO leadership. The general framework will be presented with the needs of radiology in mind, with specific discussion of potential role of radiology groups in this new paradigm and an example of a successful co-management model.
