ACR2016VM29 - Multiparametric MRI of the Prostate: Interpretation and Reporting Using PI-RADS V2

May 16, 2016 3:30pm ‐ May 16, 2016 5:00pm

Description

The purpose of this case-based interactive session is to review the framework of PI-RADS v2 for standardized analysis of mpMRI of the prostate and communication of imaging findings, utilizing a case library that illustrates a broad spectrum of prostatic pathologies, including common interpretation pitfalls. Highlights include an introduction to prostate imaging and PI-RADS v2, including reviewing of the PI-RADS LEXICON and ATLAS and a case library of 20 cases illustrating mpMRI of the prostate with pathology correlation. This session will be based on the case review course developed for the ACR Education Center ™

Learning Objectives:

  1. Apply the principles of PI-RADS v2 for interpretation and reporting of prostate mpMRI
  2. Identify false positive imaging findings and understand the limitations of prostate MRI
  3. Apply PI-RADS v2 in the radiology practice
