The purpose of the session is to provide an overview of the ACR's advocacy and regulatory efforts around healthcare payment policy both in the government and private sectors. Additionally, faculty will provide insights into the internal and external trends impacting radiologists and imaging reimbursement.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Describe current trends in payment policy as they impact imaging.
  2. Describe the ACR's activities on behalf of radiologists to advocate for appropriate payment policies for imaging.
  3. Recognize external perspectives and trends in healthcare economics.
