Description

The purpose of the session is to provide first-time Capitol Hill attendees and others with a comprehensive analysis of the legislative process and how to advocate within its confines. This course will arm participants with the know-how of basic advocacy procedures and highlight proven tactics and the value for relationship building with any legislative representative.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Describe the legislative process and how to impact it.
  2. Explain how to build relationships with legislative officials both at the state and federal level.
