ACR 2016 The Crossroads of Radiology

ACR2016VM09 - What We Can Learn From Our Customers: Perspectives From Three Non-Radiologists (and One Radiologist)

May 15, 2016 3:30pm ‐ May 15, 2016 5:00pm

Description

The purpose of the session is to provide perspectives from non-radiologists as it relates to radiology. The volume to value shift in health care should prompt radiologists to ask the question: what do my customers really want? The best way to answer that question is to ask them. In this session, three leaders with individual expertise in the wants, needs and expectations of patients, referring physicians and hospital executives will answer this important question. A leader in radiology will listen to these viewpoints for the first time and then highlight important takeaways from the session. Developed in conjunction with the Radiology Leadership Institute ®

Learning Objectives:

  1. Analyze the perspectives from several non-radiology leaders regarding their wants, needs and expectations from radiology.
  2. Apply knowledge gained from these non-radiology leaders, as well as one radiology leader, to develop strategies for improvement
  3. Implement these strategies at the local level in their practices.
