Description
Andrew DeLaO will help radiologists break the
orthodoxy of "doctor's doctor" and shift to the paradigm of
"patient's doctor." It is important for radiologists to own their
stories. This means delivering the story to the end users (i.e., the patients).
Radiologists can no longer rely on other physicians to capture their value. The
four core pillars of "My Ideal Patient Experience" will be discussed.
Specific stories will be shared to illustrate simple opportunities to improve
the patient-radiologist relationship. The goal is to help radiologists talk to
their patients and better demonstrate the value radiology provides.
